All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.
Universal Declaration of Human Rights
The International Day of Human Rights is marked every year on December 10, the day when in 1948 the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted by the General assembly of the United Nations. In 1950, the General assembly accepted the resolution 423 (V), by which it calls for all countries and interested organziations to mark December 10 as the International Day of Human Rights.
This year the United Nations call for Everyone to stand up in defense of somebody’s human rights.
The change starts within anyone of us. Let stand together to defend the rights of refugees, people with disabilities, LGBT people, women, children, other minorities and anyone who is discriminated.
